mxf to omf dilemma
We are currently using an HPX-500 to shoot video & need to import the files into an old AVID Xpress (Mac) as .omf. We are shooting at 480i & 59.94i.
We are using Flip Factory to make the conversion from .mxf to .omf at 29.97fps…the issue we are having is with the quality of the resulting .omf file.
It appears to tear near the top of the video and appears to have a film quality look.
Any suggestions on Flip Factory settings that might fix this issue?

Is the Panasonic even supported under that version of Avid- I’m thinking not but not sure.
