MXF imports with out a P2 card
Will some one out there please give me a straight answer on this one? I’ve been looking though the archives with no luck.
Please, does anyone know if it is possible to import MXF files with out using the P2 card structure? I have inherited a project in which many of the P2 cards given to me (on a Hard Drive) have lost that all-important text file. I know that on avid the path is not important and that MXF files can be imported directly from the video folder. Does fcp have a similar feature?
I”m using FCP 6 (studio 2) on a MacBook Pro 17”….
