I was delivered footage on CompactFlash, half as MOV files and the other half as MXF files. The MXF files were by themselves without any accompanying files or folder structure. I don’t have the luxury of speaking with the crew who shot the footage, but the MOV files have the following codec info:
XDCAM HD422 1080i60 (50Mb/s), Integer (Big Endian), Timecode

After searching for about 10 minutes on the Sony site, I found their XDCAM Transfer software v2.10. However, when I load the folder of MXF files, none of them show up. It says 0 clips. Could they be corrupt? How would you check? Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

Someone from the production company got back to me and said to send back for conversion. Apparently someone forgot to flip the switch on the camera.
