  MXF File Export from AVID Symphony

  Hey there,

  i have the following Question:

  Is it possible to Export an MXF File from AVID, in order to manually drop it on an
  XDCAM HD Recorder via LAN? As far as i know you can only output a sequence to a
  locally connected XDCAM via Firewire/USB. Is that correct?
  Or is there any way to export a single MXF File?
  Maybe there is a way to emulate an XDCAM HD Deck on the AVID System?

  The reason for this is simply that our XDCAM HD is not locally connected to the AVID System but 2 floors above…….

  Any ideas are appreciated!
