    Hello:

My PavTube HD convertor quit, after upgrading my imac to El Capitan ( I regret the upgrad).
I re-purchased the program and downloaded, but it still doesn’t work. Pavtube took a very long time to get back to me, saying “it should work”. (thanks for the help Pavtube ;( !
Anyhow – still trying to get some answer / refund from them. In the meantime – recommendations for converting my MXF files from my Sony fs7?

PS: Resolve won’t work on either of my macs either, so that doesn’t help. Do I just need to update from El Capitan all the way up to whatever the latest is?

    Thanks for your help.
    Truly, truly…

    Have you tried Shutter Encoder?

And have you tried any of the Nablet Sony AMA plug-in to work directly with these files in Media composer and transcode there as needed? Depending on camera/format, it may be free or at a cost.

I downloaded Shutter Encoder, and it works great. I am shocked and excited!

Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for a follow-up response from PavTube HD convertor. They took my money for the 2nd download, which doesn’t work. I’m guessing they simply don’t have support anymore, but are still happy to take purchases for the old product.

Regardless, I really appreciate the insight!

    Thanks again!

I’ve had great responses with shutter encoder. Might be worth trying.
