MXF and P2
Hello. I’m having trouble with some P2 footage I have received and can’t find the help in the FCP forum so I’m going to post it over here in hopes for some enlightenment. The P2’s I received are burnt to DVD. Only CONTENTS folder was copied without the “lastclip.txt” file. Therefore, the P2 structure is gone (at least in FCP). I only have avid express, (but I don’t think any mac avid has P2 support yet) and I can’t find anyway to work with these files, at least not successfully. I was wondering if any PC avid users know a workaround for getting these files ingested into my FCP5 system. It

You need Avid Xpress Pro 5.2 or later on PC for now. Mac support is for end of June.
