Music Video is too smooth?
Hello.
I shot some video to one of my songs, using a canon MiniDV cam. I originally purchased this as an upgrade from using my iphone and digital camera to shoot videos.
I noticed that the rendered video is too smooth ( for lack of better terms) and that the tad-jerkiness during preview when played in the project gives it a more ( how can I put this, music video-like theme?) the transitions aren’t too smooth, and I actually like it ( which is prolly due to me working on a machine not quite up to the task- Pentium 4 3 ghz, 2 gigs ram).
Is there anyway to make the rendered video ( not so smooth?) i tried decreasing the frame rate from 29 to 12.5 because I hear it was the way to get that stuttering ( 8mm film effect) but didn’t seem to really have a noticeable impact on my video. Another way to put it is that the rendered video is to ( seamless?), in other words, it looks like a video that belongs on a reality tv show.

Try NewBlue Motion FX or Film FX. They can add a little edge to your video.
