Music Role Colour Change – Bug?
-

October 30, 2016 at 4:48 pmThe colour of audio roles has changed to a lighter green in the Timeline, but not the Inspector. FCPX originally assigned a Dialogue role to the music clips, and I changed it to music. I tried changing the colour in the Roles Editor, but when changing back to green, I get the same result. Trashing Preferences had no effect. Thoughts? Bug?

October 30, 2016 at 4:58 pmWell, I just learned something about 10.3. The reason the colour of the audio role changed is that I had selected it in the Roles section of the Timeline Index, which shows it as “highlighted”. By selecting another role, such as video, the colour reverts to the original darker green. All is well in the world of FCPX 10.3
