  • Multitrack Recording: Can I Create A Preset Of The Input Routing Assignments That Can Be Recalled?

    Here is my current workflow:

    1) I open Audition
    2) I click Multitrack to create a new multitrack session and name the sessio and specify where it gets saved.
    3) I customize what feeds get sent to what tracks (Example: Mic 1 goes to Track 1, Mic 2 goes to Track 2, Mic 3 goes to Track 3, A mix of all the mics goes to Track 4)
    5) I record and save the session. Then retrieve all the isolated track recordings as needed in the folder i created.

If I want to do the same exact thing tomorrow, is there a way to recall the channel input assignments I made yesterday?

Right now I need to manually reset each input source each time I do a new multitrack recording.

A workaround is to reopen the last project with the correct mappings, do a save as and start a new recording… but that seems clumsy.

I can’t imagine that Adobe doesn’t have a way of saving a preset for this ….

    Am I missing something?

Thank you SO much in advance!

    Steve
