    Hello

    We have 5 installations of FCP here (current Mac OS and current FCP versions). We also have about 8 editors, 3 working at any given time, all with their own favorite shortcuts, window layouts, etc.

    On AVID, there’s an easy way to save a file on a USB key and load it on a new workstation so you can have your custom set-up anywhere. Dies this exist for FCP?

    Is there a single file you can bring with you on a USB key which will set an FCP installation to your keyboard shortcuts, button bars, and window layouts?

    With FCP you can save window, keyboard and button layouts as separate files. You can then load those files whenever you wish.

    For more information, I’d suggest looking in the FCP manual.
