  • multiple timelines in one project…

    Hello:
Forgive me, I’m coming from a dpsVelocity environment where I can have multiple timelines and thus differnt versions of a spot within my project. Each timeline has it’s own tab and I can just tab through the timlines to get to the one I need. Does FCS 2 function like this or do I need to create a new project for each and every timline? Is there a way to create separate timelines within one single project or do I simply need to change the way I think in terms of this workflow.
    Thanks,

Sure, you can open up numerous timelines and cut and paste clips between them as well. You can right click in the Browser and choose, or go to File — New — Sequence, or use the keyboard command Command — N., or you can right click on your current sequence in the browser and choose duplicate, which adds a copy to the browser, and adds “copy” to the description, then it must be double-clicked to open.
