Multiple Tape Capturing
Bottom line – I’m being lazy…
Have several tapes from a multi-cam music shoot. All tapes have synced time-of-day time code.
I was hoping to log just one tape then duplicate the offline clip, change the reel number and get FCP to capture the identical scenes from each tape.
No…when you duplicate as master clip, if you change the reel number, it changes all instances.
Short of hand logging each tape – any thoughts on capturing identical scenes with identical time-codes from multiple tapes?

Export out a batch list, change the reels, import it back in is one way to accomplish this.
