Multiple shots on duffirent layers not importing from PP CC
Have a short sequence I’m importing from PP CC into AE. The shots in PP are lying on top of each other at the same point as I need to pull different elements from each and comp them togehter to make one shot. Layers are no more than four. When I import to AE I just get the cuts from shot to shot and not the multiple layers.
I have tried importing and opening the PP proj file in various ways but always the same result. I even tried removing all effects just in case that created aproblem but still the same result. Some footage is 720p and some 1080p but I didn’t think that would make a difference.
Any ideas?

From Adobe Help:
In a sequence, select the clips you want in the composition.
Right-click any of the selected clips.
Select Replace With After Effects Composition.—
It is easier to destroy than to create.
