multiple point masking (beyond garbage mask)
Hi,
Does anyone know how to do multiple point masking, frame by frame?I have somone who was in front of a black background in a shoot, and they went off that black background and onto a red background. I now need to crop around their arm and legs to mask out the red so it goes black.
An 8 point garbage mask seems to not have enough points to do detailed masking like this.
Is there another effect that can be used to achieve this type of masking in FCP?
I’m grateful for your help and advice.

Nope. You should use Motion or Shake – as I suggested over at 2pop.

There is also a bezier mask plug in that someone makes.

CHV makes the bezier plug. It’s far easier in Motion though.
