In my moderately overclocked Ivy Bridge workstation, I currently have installed one GTX 670 “FTW” edition GPU. It has 4GB of VRAM and 1344 CUDA cores. Its awesome, and has worked really well for what I do. Editing an 8 camera multicam shoot of a live concert is a breeze.

I have a GTX770 available to me that a friend wants to sell cheaply. It has 1536 CUDA cores, and 4GB of RAM. I certainly have room on my motherboard, and plenty of power (have a 1Kw power supply) and could pop this in to join the 670.

Would premiere and its mercury playback engine take advantage of 2 cards vs. 1? How? Would these gains be realized within program while working, or upon export from adobe media encoder?
