Is there a way to grab multiple KFs in the motion tab, ala after effects style???

A cut is a cut & a dissolve is a disolve, and not just anybody with a system is a pro.

    Nope.
You copy attributes and paste attributes. It is not a particularly selective process but it grows on you. You can also make a copy of a layer and replace the media retaining all filters and settings/keyframes.
