I run 5 monitors – four off of a GTX 1060 and one off of the Intel 640 onboard graphics. Will be building a new system soon, and will likely use the 1060 to run 1-2 of my monitors, with something “better” as my main GPU.

My question is, how does Vegas Pro deal with two graphics sources when it comes to playback and rendering? Does it “combine forces” or go with whichever is designated as the primary GPU – if that is even an option? I will likely be getting (when I can…) an RTX 3080 or a Radeon 6800. If they don’t support 5 monitors, I would like to know what the best setup would be, having to make use of two graphics sources.

    Thanks for any input!
