Multiple frame rates
We have a project, where we will be shooting with two of our cameras, and two of a clients cameras. Our cameras have the ability to shoot 24p, 30p and 60i, but the clients cameras do not give us any options. I assume that they will be shooting at 60i. Is this a good assumption? If so, should we shoot entirely on 60i, or would it be fine shooting at 30p, and then setting up the timeline at 29.97?

Is it possible to find out and tell us the model numbers for all 4 cameras?
And what the final delivery method will be? (DVD? Web?)
We can tell you all sorts of assumptions, but that does you no good if they prove to be wrong.

If the other cameras only shoot 60i, then if you want any hope of having the look of the cameras match, then I would suggest shooting 60i. But as Jeff said, know the camera models would help a lot in making a good decision. Because there’s a chance that the cameras are so different that it will look different regardless, in which case, you might want to use it to your advantage by shooting at either 24P or 30P.
