    i m editing a film which is shoot in diff cam formate..sony pd-170(720*576 25fps)and sony hdv z1(1440*1080 25fps)..
    now after editing i hav to tranfer total film for digital cinema..
    they accept only 1920*1080 (24fps).
    whenevr i change my clips dimensions its totaly prixlet and frm doesnt look good..
    how can i upgrade its quality…

    hi,
    I would upscal your SD-material using innobits purifier, but you need to know that HDV native resolution is 1440×1080.

    so I would upscale your HDV-material to 1920×1080 using purifier as well – maybe I would use the pro-res codec.

    then you need to do a frame-rate-conversion to 23.98p. this is quite a bit complex, but I wrote a small tutorial for this.

    it´s been another context, but the workflow is the same.

    to use apples Cinema Tools is a common workflow for things like this.
