    Hello,

My project is still in the editing stage, and I am adding several audio tracks to go along with my music DVD. Just wondering before I even start to learn Sony’s DVD program. Will it let me author with multiple audio tracks? The original audio on track 1, alternate source audio on track 2, and a combined stereo track 3 made from 2 alternate mono sources. This 3rd ones a big maybe, depending if I can get them both in perfect sync. Music video seems abit harder to keep in perfect sync, even using the waveforms to edit by.

sure, easy to author with multiple audio tracks. Render the video, render each audio track separately, then once you’ve dropped the main video/audio combo into DVDA, you can drag in the supplemental audio tracks on to the DVDA timeline. Won’t need to struggle to sync them in DVDA since all will start from zero.

then the user just chooses which audio track to use.

can make it more complex / user-friendly, so that a button will take the user to a specific video/audio combination.
eg: add same video 3 times (will only be physically added once), specify the audio for each one, and you’re good to go.

Will just be adjusting the properties in each case.

DVDA is quite user friendly, but obviously will take a few minutes to get up to speed

    🙂
