Multiple audio sources, MTS files, CS6. Uhg!
So here is the issue. We shot an AF100, one channel of an audio feed from a mixer into XLR #1, the other was the on camera mic. We captured two distinct audio sources onsite. When the files are imported into Pr_CS6 there are only two audio tracks, and they both “bounce” in unison. As far as I can tell it is a dual mono track. How can I access all the various audio tracks? Shouldn’t I see a distinct left and right from the on-board stereo mic, and two mono tracks (duplicated) from the track from the mixer output?
The mixer in this case was a one channel RCA out through an adapter to an XLR on camera. I know that it was picking up though the head phones, and bumping the meters on screen.
We have tried multiple settings in the “Modify>Audio Channels…” menu, but haven’t found a solution. What am I missing?

Well, you ran one line in from mixer. One audio track.
One mic in from on cam. Second audio track.When you “modify audio channels” you should have 2 mono tracks.

Well since the onboard mic is stereo, shouldn’t there be at least three channels? Also, I would prefer to have access over mixing the onboard with the input from the mixer. Right now what I have is basically two, identical audio tracks. I can adjust levels and pan, but it makes no difference (since they are the same) .

Your audio files will be the same as they are in the recorded files and that is determined on how you set them up. Example:assign the internal stereo mic to only record on channel 1 and the line in assigned to channel 2. I am not sure about the AF 100 but your audio record settings will be determined on menu or switch assignments.
You will not have 3 tracks of audio, just 2 and you can split them in to mono channels in PrPro.
