  • Multilayered Multicamera Project with different Backgrounds

    This is my timeline:

My project consists of 2 angles (a wide shot and a close shot made of one 4k angle). I created two sequences (wide and close) and cut the footage with the multicamera option. Then, beneath the cut multicamera layer, an animation from Affter Effects is put and finally a background underneath it all.

Its about this background. I want different backgrounds for the close and the wide shot, but still want to be able to move the keyed out footage.

Does anyone have a very clever and simple ☺ idea how to get that? Maybe some kind of automation? Close shot = Close background?!

Hope you can help, thank you so much!!!

Build a sequence for each angle keyed on the desired background. Then use those sequences as the clips for your multicam.

So do the keying first with the raw footage then use those sequences as clips.

That sounds great! Still, somehow there the animation layer has to go between the Keyed layer and the background. If the sandwich is closed without the filling, its hard to get the filling in later ☺

    Thank you so much!
