    Hi Cow Community,

In some group clips when I cut them into my timeline the video track displays their media file names instead of the avid name which I have typed in. The audio displays the correct name. For example in my bin I have a clip called 14B-7 Grp but when I cut it into the timeline the video is called A047C003_131027. The audio displays 14B-7 Grp.

Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

    Using MC 6.5.3.
    OSX 10.8.2
    Nice Mac Pro

I believe the video element in the group clip only displays the name of the active clip and disregards any additional naming applied to the .grp clip. It appears as though the video angles used in the group clip are still named the original camera file name, and perhaps these were double system sound? If not, then it could be a bug – there is no naming display preference that I know of in the multicamera feature set.
