Hi Greg,
Two ways you can do this:
1. Locate a sync point in both camera angle clips in the Clip Browser and add a marker at the sync point in both clips.
Then select both clips, R-click the selection and choose “New Multicam Clip”. In the Multicam Clip window, choose Custom Settings and set the Angles Synchronization to “First marker on the angle”. This will create a Multicam Clip with synchronization based on the markers you have added to both clips. Then create a new Project, drop your synched multicam clip from the browser onto the timeline and start cutting away.
2. Just create a Multicam clip from both angles, never mind the settings. Then double-click the Multicam Clip to open it in the Angle Editor and manually move one of the angles in the Angle Editor until it lines up with the other angle. Then create a new Project, drop your synched multicam clip from the browser onto the timeline and start cutting away.
