    Hi!

I’m trying to make a multicam sequence with three different nested sequences that I got but it ends up being too short (2 min).

    My scenario:
The footage is about 3 hours long and is filmed with a GoPro and a capturing device for the gameplay of the videogame.

Nested sequence #1 = All the GoPro clips, lined up after each other. 3 hours long.

Nested sequence #2 = All the footage from the capturing device, lined up after each other. 3 hours long.

Nested sequence #3 – The GoPro and the captured gameplay footage synced together in a picture-in-picture view. 3 hours long (of course)

Now! The nested sequences 1,2,3 are all synced, the In Point and the starting point of all the nested sequences are the same. They are all syncronized. No problem here.

But! Now when I select all these three nested sequences and choose to create a Multi-cam sequence. The Multicam sequence ends up being only 2 minutes long? My footage is over 3 hours?

What am I doing wrong here?

Simple solution. Line all 3 of your footage sequences up in another sequence. Then drop that sequence into another sequence and within there right click your sequence and say be multi camera.

    That’ll work fine

Thanks to you I found the problem.
Somehow I had managed to select an In Point and Out Point on all three nested sequences, causing my multicam sequence being only 2 min.

It all works great now and multicam editing saves me alot of time!
Good thing I finally started learning it.

    Thanks!
