I’m working in my first Premiere Pro CC project in a multicam environment. I came from a FCP 7 background. Have a few questions:

Can I toggle the multicam angle views between 4, 9, 16 cameras? If I have 9, can I just look at 4? Or is it controlled by PP?

How do I can a new camera to an existing multicam clip?

I am not able to create multicam with an 8 channel audio only file being one of the angle. I’m attempting to sync with In points. PP will create a multicam clip but it just leaves out the audio file. Any idea why?

Thanks for your time and help!

    hi…

I don’t know about switching between the numbers of cameras you’re viewing…

but as to the second question…

    fundamentally, a multi-cam source is just a nested sequence…

so if you need to add another camera,,,

open the existing sequence and add it as another layer in the stack…

    ta da! 🙂

Yes you can. Go to “Settings” (the wrench icon) in the Program monitor > Edit cameras >
uncheck the camera(s) you don’t want to work with.

Thanks but not exactly what I was looking for. But I appreciate the reply. And also thanks to the others.

Ok, but that means you have to sync it manually yourself? Can you add a camera after the initial creation and still use sync with marker or audio?
