  multicam oddity???

  Working in CC 2018. I started a sequence in Multicam mode with 2 video tracks. Had full display in program window with both video tracks showing, hilight on active track and the edited version, as usual. After placing a jpeg at the head of the image, the program monitor only displayed two windows, both of them showing the same video track, and no edited version, no highlight of active track. Finding no settings askew, I did a copy and paste into a new sequence, and the program monitor displays as expected. Is this a glitch or ignorant operator error?
