I have a 2-camera ceremony where cam1 has 2 audio sources and cam2’s audio for syncing only. So after I do my multicam edit I have my Multicam clip and my Project.

I need to edit each audio input from cam1 for balance and tweaking and switching each one off where necessary. I can not Detach or Expand my audio in the Multicam clip. In the Project I can, but there are a 100 cuts between each camera forcing me to edit each cut’s audio separately. This of course would take hours. There has to be a much fast way to edit audio in Multicam shoots.

    Suggestions? Tutorials?

    Thanks.

Not sure exactly what you mean- but you can switch video only so that the audio track is continuous across cuts which should make things much easier if the audio track is without issues.

Select all the multicam cuts in the project and make them a compound clip. Show audio lanes and you will have all your audio reassembled into continuous tracks.
