Multicam assistance for FCP7
Hi, im hoping someone can help me with multi cam within FCP7.
So far ive synced all my 5 different angles up with Plural Eyes, Ive exported all the reference files of each angle, brought them back in and created a multi clip, selected open in the drop down menu but FCP wont seem to let me do a live cut. There’s a blue box around the clips but no green box and when I click on each angle within the multiclip it wont actually cut the clip on the timeline. It also says I need to render again after I try this.
Im cutting on a mac book pro and Multicam has worked before but not this time.
Any ideas as to why this would be happening? Is there a simple step I’m missing?

Reference movies might be the issue. Try self contained? So that you aren’t multicam cutting clips that point to clips that point to media.

Thanks Shane, I’ll give that a go. Appreciate your help. I’, working from a Mac Book Pro a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 Processor. Do you know if I should have any problems running multiclips on this system?
