    Hello to all,

I am editing a multicam project. Out of the blue the angles will not play on the client monitor. When the timeline is stagnant I see the angles in the Viewer and in the client monitor. When I hit play the client monitor shows the active angle only. For the past 2 days I’ve been able to play with no problem and the angles show up in the client monitor. “Open” is checked, under external video “All Frames” is checked and under View “Show Multiclip Angles” is checked. As suggestions as to what to do to get my angles to playback on the client monitor?

    As always, thanks in advance!

    Peace,
    Lisha

I’ve gone to the mat with many frustrated users of mutlicamera. These changes in the display output seem to be spontaneous and unexplained.

All I know is that multicamera works but it gets messed up every now and then due (AFAICT) to two things: It just stops working and there’s a likely unknown keyboard shortcut that changes the display from all-up to selected. Dunno, can’t find it.

The other two things I know are that when my displays go wonky, a simple restart usually cures it or I close the clips and close the sequences and open everything from a blank slate.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

I just realized that rendered clips don’t allow me to play the angles in the client monitor. Unrendered clips allow me to play the angles. The producer does not like looking at a slightly blurry picture so I’ve changed my Playback Video Quality from Dynamic to High to avoid rendering. This gives him the picture he wants to see on playback and gives me my angles in the monitor.

As always, any thoughts on this greatly appreciated!
