Multibridge Pro – capture file type
Hey folks,
I completed the setup this weekend of a new MacPro running Windows XP, with a Multibridge Pro. For now, I’ll be using Premiere Pro CS3.
In the initial tests before adding Premiere to the mix, I would capture using the Black Magic Deck Control applet. While there are choices for codec, there’s no choice for file type and everything captures to a Quicktime MOV file.
After reinstalling & setting up PPro CS3, it all works great. However when I capture through PremPro, I have codec options of course but still no file type, and everything captured is in an AVI. Deck Control still captures to MOV’s.
Is this just the way it is, or is there some configureation menu I’m missing? It’s not a major issue but it seems odd.
