Multibridge on a MBP??
Hi there,
Am looking in to edit suites for a client who has a need for simple mobile cutting using a variety of sources… and although an AJA IO would some of what he needs, I’m wondering if there are any plans to make the Multibridge work with the express card slot on the MBP… Probably top secret stuff if its in development (or anything similar) but any info or suggestions gratefully received… basically he needs to get SD & HD video (HD being a mix of HDV and regular HD, some XDCAM) in and out on a mobile system. I’m thinking that FW800 *should* cope with playback of single stream HD (DVCProHD codec, for example) and HDV will be fine – its just getting it out of the MBP. Matrox MXO would be OK but ingest-wise a non-starter…
Any info or suggestions, even if its ‘wait a while’ 😉 ?
