Multibridge Extreme not going into PCIe mode
Hello All,
Here’s my setup:
Quad G5
4.5 G of Ram
3x250GB SATA Raid 0 via RocketRaid 2320This system has been nothing but problems. The latest issue I’m dealing with is after finally getting my capture drive speed sorted by going with the internal raid, the MBE has decided it doesn’t want to play nicely with PCIe anymore. It boots into A/D mode and never does the quick reboot & red LED to signal PCIe mode. The card doesn’t show up in System Profiler. I had this problem once before, and managed to fix it by reseating everything but this time nothing is working. I’ve moved PCIe slots, reseated PCIe cable, reseated card, etc. My only guess is the cable being bad, but it shows very little wear or kinking. I currently have nothing hooked up to the MBE, it’s eventual role is to capture HD (720p 10bit 60fps) via analog component in. Any help appreciated!

nope, I was under from reading threads that we were not to upgrade until the “new” 5.4 came out.
That said, i just tried to bring up the MBE in the multibridge utility connected with usb, and *that* isn’t working either. Seems like my MBE is just a loner 🙁
