  Multibridge Extreme dubb to BetaSP issues – URGENT Help needed!!!

  Hi Guys!

  I’m trying to run off a dub from FCP (latest version) to my old Beta SP deck (it’s an 1800 Sony). Haven’t been asked to do this for a while.

  The BM deck control utility seems to be controlling the deck fine. it will play rewind etc. etc.

  When I try to ‘Print to video’ in FCP, I get an error message that says “The VTR is not communicating correctly. Please check device settings and/or cabling to VTR”

  As far as I can see the cabling is fine (else the decklink control wouldn’t like it) I’ve checked the device control settings and they are: Blackmagic PAL 25hz

  Does anyone have any experience to help me solve this one?

  I’m not even sure where to start.
