    hey again

    How do i customize my keyboard with multiple tap options ie press r once i get a roller press r twice quickly i get a slip roller and so on

    i remapped trim to my t key and i wanted to put all those track selection options on my a key so that i pres a once i get select, i press a twice i get select to end and so on

    and please, i appreciate advice to leave stuff alone, but i don’t want to, so no lectures ok? ok! 🙂

    You can’t. The multi-tap shortcuts are strictly for the tool palette and can’t be reassigned to custom commands.

    Don’t tell me you’ve mapped all the combinations of Command, Shift, Option, Control, Shift-Command, Command-Option, Control-Command, Shift-Option, Control-Option, Control-Shift already Bob 🙂

    yep! used em alllllll up! grew myself 2 extra fingers too! 🙂

    actually, i wanted to move the track select key from t to somewhere else, cuz the system i am used to uses t for trim.

    guess i’ll have to find some other way…

    BTW i once found some info in the interweb about a keyboard developed by MIT in the early days of darpanet. In addition to the qwerty keys and numbers, it had NINE modifiers! and maybe even function keys as well

    Or “Trim In Yo Mama”?
