    Has anybody noticed that multi-formats on a timeline results in image softness? I brought a few DVCPROHD clips into a DVCPRO50 timeline and the HD clips are kinda blurry. On a DVCPROHD timeline they look spot-on crisp.

    You’ll need to render to see full res I’ll wager, and are you looking at the clips externally on a video monitor? That would be the only way to tell what you’re really getting…

    Also I’d suspect that down converting to SD from HD SHOULD look a bit softer than the original.

    Might try putting the mixed formats in a ProRes Sequence, and see if that improves things.
