multi-clips in viewer freeze during playback
Does anyone know how to duplicate the issue where the multi-clip angles in the viewer window will freeze during playback but will jump forward to the right frame when playback is stopped? I’ve got a colleague with this issue and I can’t figure out what he’s doing wrong. The canvas and timeline are apparently advancing fine. I’m pretty sure he’s on FCP 7. TIA

I’ve had that problem several times. Multiclip is always a real pain to get going, and all the various and very obscure bits need to be set right and done in the right order, which then doesn’t work half the time. I just persevere till it works.
