Multi clip problem
I have been editing a 3 camera multi clip this afternoon and everything was working great. Then I let it render and when I came back, without changing anything the canvas and viewer both show the clip that is playing in the canvas instead of showing the 3 camera angles in the viewer. Play head is still set to “open”. When I pause playback in the canvas the 3 cameras return in the viewer. “Multiclip” playback is checked under RT settings. What has changed to cause this?

Now its playing the render file and not the clip. Select all the clips that got rendered and toggle control-B. This will disable and re-enable the clip, thus causing everything to unrender.
You will want to disable auto rendering when using multiclip, as FCP considers this an effect.
