Using Multi-clip and having trouble when setting for multi clip playback. Using FCP6. Have two matching cameras. Timecode on Tape 1 is continuous, Timecode on Tape 2 has short breaks but matches footage after each break.

Digitized Cam 1 (25 minutes) as one continuous take (no TC breaks)

Digitized Cam 2 in its entirety, but because of the timecode breaks it breaks it up into individual clips.

I label each cam angle as 1 and 2
Set up for Multiclip playback in timeline
    Open sync

When I highlight all the selects, the ONE big clip from Cam 1 and then the 10 individual clips from Cam 2, then arrange by Timecode, it all seems to line up fine.

But when I play in the viewer, it is treating each of the Cam 2 clips as if each one is an indivdual angle from 1-10, instead of just TWO angles. Everything is in sync, but it keeps moving from window to window as if there are 10 cameras.

I have a work around by just making multiclips one at a time with each of Cam 2 individual clips, but I was thinking I am missing something simple. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Export the angle with all the short clips as a self contained movie, if you have sync all the parts to the solid movie it is a pretty quick and easy thing. Use the new movie as your 2nd angle.
