We recently shot our church Easter play using multi-cameras (3 cameras). I log and captured each video, placed each clip on separate tracks within my timeline, and sync all footage together.

I’m not sure how to say this, but here goes. Is it possible to view three tracks simultaneously in separate windows and use the main canvas to view my output as I cut and edit, something like using a video switcher? I hope my question is clear.

You need to create a multiclip sequence. If you take all three clips and combine them into a multiclip, you can view all three angles in your Viewer as you play. You can then let the timeline play and cut between angles on the fly.

    Thank you Alan,

Your FCP multicam sync document was very helpful.

Hi, does anyone know how to add another angle to an already existing multiclip without having to reselect all the clips?
