Multi Camera Multi Ki Pros

Hey Guys
I am working on a multi camera show
I want to start a knowledge base here for this type of job

I am currently doing a 4 camera job as Ki Pro & Data Manager,

I have 3 Ki Pros & 1 Ki Pro Mini
I am using an ethernet hub or switcher to connect through a computer
I was using gang recording until I updated the firmware for the Mini today.

I restarted everything I can see the Mini in the browser but the Master just cant see the mini in gang record.

I can however use the mini as the Gang Master so I switched and made the Mini the master.

I do occasionally get dropped frame errors on the mini, thtas why I did the firmware update.

I will continue to add info as we go here.

In the last hour,
we seem to be having issues with gang record,
settings dont seem to hold

Browser controls are lagging a bit
just restarted

Custom takes often dont take through browser either
& Yes I am clicking apply.

First, make sure all the wifi options are completely disabled.

What firmware are you running on everything?

If you roll back the firmware on the Mini, does it show up? My hunch is yes.

I disabled it after you told me but it made no difference, D camera still doesnt show up in Gang list
I restarted all including ethernet switcher.

The recordings are fine its just the controller that is glitchy

I’m not trying to whine here I just want to put the info out there for you guys to know what happens with multi-camera situations

So what causes the dropped frames ?
it only happens in the first 10 seconds and only on the mini

Yeah Im sure it would and the new firmware isnt helping with dropped frames, so I may roll it back at lunch time

The call has also been made to change out this unit for a regular ki pro.
