Several days ago i do a muticamedra editing. between 3 cameras. Today i wanted to make some changes and the multicamrea monitor is all black. The timeline is mulitcamera enable. The multicamera configuration is displayed in the Source monitor if I double clip the timeline. . . but I want to use the Multicamera Montior to redo some clips. . and it is a blank display. Any suggestion ? ?

make sure the multi-camera enabled nested sequence has that video layer targeted, if there are no targeted tracks or the target is on another track that is blank it won’t show up.
Check my tutorial about Adv. Multicam workflows.

    Hi, hap123.
I have the same problem like you. Did you find any solution?

Followed Jon Barrie’s advice; make sure the multi-camera enabled nested sequence has that video layer targeted, if there are no targeted tracks or the target is on another track that is blank it won’t show up. But It didn’t help at all. I read the help files and tried everything from the scratch, but wasn’t successful.

Please let me have your experience. Thanks.

    Hi, hap123.
I have the same problem like you. Did you find any solution? I have been trying to solve this problem for long, but in vain.

Followed Jon Barrie’s advice. (make sure the multi-camera enabled nested sequence has that video layer targeted, if there are no targeted tracks or the target is on another track that is blank it won’t show up.) But It didn’t help at all. I read the help files and tried everything from the scratch, but wasn’t successful.

I followed your advice as such ‘make sure the multi-camera enabled nested sequence has that video layer targeted, if there are no targeted tracks or the target is on another track that is blank it won’t show up’. But It didn’t help at all. I read the help files and tried everything from the scratch, but wasn’t successful.

Please let me have your idea. Thanks.

This is an old post. Which version of ppro are u using. Mostly the error is that the nested timeline has not been multi-cam enabled.
Right click the nested multicam build timeline when in another timeline and select multi-cam > enable, then open the multicam window.

Thanks! It worked, I had to make sure the original sequence is targetting the multicam ‘clip’ video layer.

Old post but it still happens. Usually when a layer is not targeted inside the MC sequence. Just noticed that when targeting the correct layers to fix it, it was still not updating in the MC sequence. Had to close and reopen the project and it worked. Bug.
