multi-cam playback
Hi
I have a group clip I’m trying to view in multi-cam mode. I can view all the video tracks in my nine-split, but when I play the clip, only the active track plays back. The avid down the corridor can play all the tracks simultaneously.
I have a feeling it’s a software version thing, I’m working in Media Composer version 2.2.1, the Avid that works is version 2.7. But I’m hoping it’s a setting I haven’t found yet?

Was your footage digitized at one of the ‘m’ (multicam) resolutions? Thats the only way to get multiple playback.

If you are running newer software you can do multicam with any resolution.

Also, I seem to remember running into an issue where it would not play the multiple feeds if you had V2 or any other higher track active. That is no longer the case, but I do remember running into that in previous releases.
