    yes – this will work.
    BUT, you can use a cheapo analog audio mixer just for monitoring your audio, and simply send the embedded audio between your Blackmagic and your SDI VTR thru the SDI video cable !

    We did not attach permanently one SDI-VTR. And the Behringer digital mixer is amazingly cheap. We use that also for the a speaking.
    We do not use that direct analog signal of the Multibridge, because the A-d/d-A transformation takes place after SMPTE (-18dbfs = 0db(r)). Here in Germany we work after EBU and “radio house standard level – Funkhausnormpegel” (-9dbfs = 0db(r) = +6dbu).
    Everything not so simply… 😉
