When I export my film from fcpx the sound suddenly lowers in quality in the export file. I haven’t had this before. The quality lessens considerably.

The same happens when I create a compound clip. Once I reopen it in the timeline, the sound is good again

    Hope you can help?

    Thanks,

    Paul

There’s a lot of details to wade through:

A list of all the preference details is needed and also all the media types and audio types.

Sometimes X will create the file based on the first clip you dropped in the timeline and if you don’t have the proper preset chosen then it will think you want to make a low-end mp4 or something similar because it was the first clip you put in the timeline, even though you really want APR422.

    Hope that makes sense.
