    My canon sf-21 records on .mts

    How can i edit this in final cut pro 7?

    I just ordered my macbook pro (i have a 25 inch monitor for editing, haha) and Ive heard its not supported in final cut. I dont want to lose quality, I want to make excellent looking videos (like my camera is capable of)

    You will need to convert them first.

    **Hindsight is always 1080p**

    Is there a way to convert without losing the quality?

    Im good at making videos, but not this conversion stuff. I just want my videos to look as good as they do unedited.

    Use Clipwrap or Roxio Toast to convert to Prores.
