MPEG Audio Out of Sync
Hello,
I’ve imported a single MPG file w/ 29.97 fps, No Compression, 44.1 kHz/16 bit/Stereo. I trimmed off the first 11 minutes of the clip at the beginning in my comp, to edit down the clip. My comp is also set to 29.97 fps. When I RAM preview it or render it out in different formats like MPG, the sound is out of sync, coming in early by 15 seconds or so. Also, I’m not using time remapping.
Any ideas?

Stab in the dark: open the MPEG file in Quicktime Player, and export it to WAV or AIFF from there. Import that audio file into the comp, and use it as the audio layer in your comp.

Thanks Steve and Dave for your advice. Exporting the audio as a wave file and manually resyncing it in AE solved the problem.
