mp4 to aiff?
i’ve purchased and downloaded some mp4 music, but can’t get it into FCP. i’ve changed the import into itunes to be the AIFF encoder, but still no luck, even after burning the songs to a CD and trying to re-import them. has anyone done this successfully?

FCP does not accept iTunes purchased music. It will work in iMovie though, and you can export it from there to AIFF at the sampling rate you’re using.
