    MP4 renders with Vegas 9.0c no longer works

    Ever since upgrading to Version C, when I now render my project in the MP4 format (Main Concept ACV/AAC) the video no longer works. I can play the video, but it either hangs or I can not forward through it else Quicktime crashes. I can also no longer cut my video using my splitting software as I get a “not enough synch points in input file. Regardless of the splitting software, the files themselves after Vegas renders them no longer works. I can play the files that were rendered in MP4 before the upgrade just fine.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    …I use it a lot for web HD video… that would be very bad news,… anyone else to confirm ?? just about to upgrade (using 9b without any problems….)

    So I submitted a ticket to Sony and had to downgrade to 9.0b and it works again. The only thing they could think of is that my Quicktime is version 7.6.2 and I am unable to upgrade to 7.6.4 because it does not work with Sorenson Squeeze.
