  mp4 problems in sony vegas hd platinum11

  so i have some footage recorded from my sony NEX3K in mp4 format that i need to burn onto bluray but cant due to vegas not responding and the previews lag

  so then i recorded some video footage to test it out from my NEX5N IN MP4 format and it works awesome,coz the nex5n you could chose what format to record in either mp4 or avchd

  my question is why am i having problems with mp4 format from the nex3 and not the nex5n?

  only asking coz i have alot of footage from the nex3k recorded in mp4 wich i need to edit and burn onto bluray
